I was up early today to make a photo that has been on my mind for some time now. However, that photo isn’t what I’m writing this post for. This post is for another photo that I think you’ll enjoy simply because it’s fun. While I was out, I happened to come across the opportunity to make a GIANT panoramic of downtown Boise Idaho so I did what any photographer would have done, I went for it.
Normally I don’t post huge images, but I’ve made an exception for this one. Right click on the image above and choose “Open in a new window” to get a giant version… Warning, it’s large and might take a minute or two to download, but it’s kind of fun. What is even more crazy, the image linked above isn’t the original, it’s about 5x smaller than the original…
What’s even more fun – here is a 100% view of a small portion of the above, so you can tell how large the original image actually is.
If this image was printed so it was 10″ tall, it would be ~75″ long.
