I know I’ve talked about this before, but as someone who spends a great deal of time reviewing and editing photos on a monitor, I can’t emphasize enough the importance of getting photos printed. There is just something very special about being able to hold a print in you hands and really appreciate it.

The question, where do you get prints made? I regularly use both Mpix and Printroom for my personal printing. Both of these companies offer color correction as an option for those that don’t have a calibrated workflow at home. They also both offer a variety of photo papers, print sizes, options for mounting, and even framing options.
For color prints I would encourage you to try the Kodak Endura Metallic paper . This is a glossy paper that has a metallic sheen to it that really makes a photo pop. Have you ever gotten prints back and been disappointed because it looses that magic glow that a computer monitor gives? The metallic paper is your cure. The metallic sheen gives an internal glow to the photo that really adds a lot of “life” to a print. The metallic paper is also a brilliant compliment to a black and white photo. The chrome undertones really adds dimmension and depth.
To encourage you to try this amazing paper I’m putting all metallic prints on sale for the month of April. All metallic paper prints will be 25% off the regular fine art price. This sale price also applies to past and future clients so if you’ve been thinking about ordering prints, April is the month to do it.
